Ramona
Bergmann, born in 1981, studied educational sciences and
history at the University of Leipzig. During her studies, she worked
at the “Zeitgeschichtliches Forum” in Leipzig, and volunteered
at the Amsterdam Drug Help Center and the Leipzig Refugee Council.
Since 2007, she has been working at LOOKS as production assistant. |

Ulrike
Biehounek, born in 1975, works in the area of development
and coordination of international co-productions for LOOKS. She
finished her studies in classical archaeology and art history at
the universities of Leipzig and Aix-en-Provence in 2001. She completed
her additional studies in film and audiovisual media at the University
of Strasbourg. In 2001, Ulrike Biehounek worked for ARTE in the
department of documentary development. |

Ilona
Dedio, born in 1968, finished her studies in medicine at
the Pomeranian Medical Academy. She worked for several years as
a doctor in Szczecin and Rostock, since 1998 in psychiatrics. In
2006, Ilona Dedio finished her studies in Enterpreneurial Management
at Berlin School of Econimics with an MBA. Ilona Dedio coordinates
financial planning and controlling for LOOKS. |

Katja
Dedio, born in 1950, studied economics at the Technical College
in Rodewisch. She worked as department manager EDP for Ostseetrans
and sales manager for IFA Vertrieb. Since 1997 Katja Dedio has been
coordinating bookkeeping for LOOKS. |

Florian
Dedio, born in 1981, received his diploma with honors in
screenwriting from Vancouver Film School in 2001. Since then, he
has worked in both the development and production of many short
film and documentary projects both in Vancouver and Germany. Since
2004, Florian is responsible for the development of new projects
for LOOKS Rostock. |

Gunnar
Dedio, born 1969, has been managing director of LOOKS since
its inception. He studied physics, philology and law at the universities
of Rostock and Avignon. Dedio has produced a number of nonfictional
films in a range of genres in Europe, Africa und South America.

Luise Dietel, born in 1984, studied Romance and English studies at Leipzig University, after which she became a foreign language correspondent. After her studies, she was responsible for administration and marketing at Birmingham Opera Company. She joined LOOKS in early 2010 as executive management assistant. |

Tobias
Fritzsch, born in 1970, studied violin at the College for
Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy" in Leipzig.
He was a member of the Thomanerchor Leipzig and the Philharmonischen
Staatsorchester Halle for many years. He also taught at the Musikschule
Wurzen for five years. After continuing his studies in audiovisual
media design, Tobias Fritzsch took over sound, equipment and archive
for LOOKS. |

Martina
Haubrich, Martina Haubrich, M.A. in North American Studies
as well as theatre and film at the Free University Berlin. During
her studies, she worked for several years for the International
Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg. In addition and still at University
she has seen most parts of the world while working as a part time
flight attendant for German Lufthansa. Since then she has worked
as an assistant director, writer and director for radio features
at the public broadcast station Sender Freies Berlin. After working
in the editor’s sections for VOX, SFB and Arte, she now works
as a Producer of International Co-Productions for LOOKS. In 2004
she opened LOOKS Filmproduktionen in Berlin and since 2009 she is
Co-CEO with Gunnar Dedio. |

Claudia Hentze, born in 1981, studied history, archival studies and religion. She is responsible for archive and general research, as well as the maintenance of LOOKS's own archives and the distribution thereof. |

Holger
Koop, born in 1972, studied events management, sociology
and political science at the University of Rostock. Since 1999,
he has worked on a number of reports, documentaries and commercials
as production, camera, and sound assistant, as well as crane operator.
Koop has been working as head of production and recording manager
for LOOKS GmbH Leipzig since 2002. |

Daniel
Köpcke, born in 1974, specialized in entertainment law
during his law studies at University of Rostock. He apprenticed
at LOOKS after passing his first state exam, where he specialized
in copyright management. After passing his second state exam, he
took over the area of copyrights and licenses for LOOKS in late
2004. |

Jan Müller, born in 1977, studied audiovisual media design at n-tv, after which he finished his studies with a diploma from HFF "Konrad Wolf". He worked on many short and medium-length films, as well as production managing and assistant directing other projects. Since March 2010, he has been working as head of production for LOOKS Berlin. |

Marlen
Müssiggang, studied at Leipzig University, after which she travelled Asia, Oceania, South and North America. After returning, she joined LOOKS as a researcher. |

Bettina Oebel took over the distribution within LOOKS in 2011, after heading the united docs sales team for many years. Before that, she was tasked with distribution, production and project management within many companies and broadcasters, such as RTL, PLanpunkt PR, Deutsche Welle and Mendez Translations. She has received a diploma in English/French translations and has also studied cultural management in Cologne. |

Markus Thüne, born in 1978, studied media sciences, English and German studies at Philipps University Marburg. After working for two years as sound designer, as well as numerous internshios, he finished his studies as audiovisual media designer in 2009, after which he joined LOOKS post production in Leipzig. |

Jens Becker, born in 1963, is a freelance author and director in Berlin. After completing an internship at GDR television and a basic seminar at the Ernst Busch School of Acting, he studied directing at the Filmhochschule Babelsberg and the Moscow Film School WGIK. He was Wim Wenders’s understudy and taught at the Humboldt University in Berlin until 2000. Becker has directed more than 20 fictional and nonfictional projects for film and television and has won a number of awards (among them the Max-Ophüls-Preis and the Kunstpreis of the Akademie der Künste). |

Reinhard Joksch, born in 1965 finished his studies at the Berlin-Köpenick School of Music (piano and bass), chemistry at the Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as legal sciences in Berlin and Hamburg. Joksch worked as assistant director for Deutscher Fernsehfunk. He was a member of "Filmstudio 69" in Berlin Lichtenberg and worked on the editorial staff of the SFB television show "Wochenmarkt”. He has been working as a freelance television journalist, author and director since 1996. In 1998, he founded his company, Vidicon TV and Video Productions, where he is responsible for the areas of documentary and feature film. |

Karsten Laske, born in 1965, studied acting at the Ernst Busch School of Acting in Berlin. After working for four years at the Mecklemburg State Theatre in Schwerin, he worked for the HFF "Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam-Babelsberg in the directing department. Laske has been working as freelance author and director since 1998. He lives in Berlin and has been working for LOOKS since 2004. |

Till Lehmann, born in 1970, studied history and English linguistics and culture in Scotland and Rostock and finished his Master of Arts at the University of Aberdeen. He works as author and director for LOOKS, as well as several broadcasters (mainly NDR, ARD) and other production companies. He also works as an author for regional and national print media. |

| Steffen Schneider, born in 1967, has been working for LOOKS as author and director since its inception. He studied philology and sociology at the universities of Aberdeen and Rostock and went to the Henri Nannen School of Journalism. He was editor for the newspapers NNN and Hamburger Morgenpost. Since 1994, he has been working as a freelance director for NDR, ZDF, WDR, ARTE, VOX, DSF, and Schweizer Fernsehen in a multitude of genres such as sports, medicine, business, animals, portraits, and reports. Among his awards is the Ernst-Schneider-Preis, the Medienpreis of the DGB, the Axel-Springer-Preis and a nomination for the Documentary Award. |

Hans-Peter Eckardt, born in 1966, apprenticed for 4 years as camera assistant and sound recordist, after which he began his studies at Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. During his studies, he filmed many documentaries on film and video, among them the award-winning portrait of Johannes Heesters "Bevor der letzte Vorhang fällt". He has worked as freelance cinematographer since 1997. |

| Lutz Hofmann, born in 1962, finished his studies in photography in 1990. He then worked for ten years as a magazine photographer for Stern, Spiegel and Geo. Since 1999, he has been working as a cinematographer, specialising in reports, features, and documentary. |

Handrick, was born in 1975. After studying economics, he
worked in commercial and press photography. After several internships
and continuing education in the area of audiovisual media design,
he has been working in post-production and training for LOOKS since
2000, both in Germany and Botswana. |

Heidebreck, born in 1978, finished his studies in audiovisual
media design at the Institute for New Media in Rostock. He developed
a number of storyboards for films such as "re-laxo” and
"Cyprinus Carpio”, which won a number of awards in international
amateur film festivals. He has been working in post-production for
LOOKS since 2003. |

Dirk
Seliger, born in 1970, finished his studies in media design
at HTWK Leipzig with a diploma in engineering. During his studies,
he completed a 6-month internship in Sevilla. Following his studies,
he worked on many film productions in location scouting, among others.
He was responsible for casting extras and small parts for 3 parts
of the feature series "Heimat 3" by Edgar Reitz. Since
early 2005, Dirk works for LOOKS Film & TV Leipzig in post-production. |
